![]() This was our first time working together, I’ve been a Toro Y Moi fan for a while. It didn’t sound like anything anyone had ever heard before, and for that, we gotta give eternal props. We made this song between a day at my place in LA and and a day at Chaz’s spot in Oakland. It came at a time when both Lorde and Flume found themselves suddenly thrust upon the world’s stage. It’s haunting, beautiful, soulful, scary, dark, and hopeful. We got you! This Lorde cover is just too good. Ha! You thought “Never Be Like You” was going to be No. If you don’t like it, you’re broken inside. ![]() ![]() Still, this is a Flume song that simply can’t be argued with. It’s the biggest sing-along in Flume’s current tour, but it’s not the ultimate climax, which is also a sign of how awesome Flume is. It’s four-times platinum in Australia, his first platinum song in the United States, with charting positions in 17 countries around the world. This is the biggest moment in Flume’s career to date. If anyone says they’ve had enough of it, they’re lying. This is one of the most relatable moments on Skin. He called her up, and a few days later, the new buds had this anthem to show for it. This is the song that plays when you’re running in the rain toward your soul mate, you know?Ĭool story: Flume was inspired to work with Tove Lo after he heard her hit “Habits” in a Los Angeles bar moments after getting out of a Kanye West show. You’ve got to chase it, and these dramatic strings are perfect for the occasion. Listening to this song feels like love waits just around the corner. Disclosure already had a massive joint on its hands. You know your remix is tight when it gets its own music video. Chet now goes by his birth name Nick Murphy, for your future reference, though he sounds just as sultry sexy cool, and this collab is definitely one of both artists’ bests. Major super jam alert! This gem is track one of three on the Lockjaw EP collaborative project between Future Classics friends Flume and Chet Faker. Also, that little squeal in the middle there kind of sounds like a guinea pig. This is a hold you cell phone light to the sky moment. This is a put your hand on your heart and sway kind of sing-along. It was only a promo single, not even given it’s own official single release, but it’s certainly one of the artist’s most magical. It went double-platinum in his home country, and still strikes a deep chord in the hearts of fans whenever its stark and solemn intro rings through the air. It grabbed a lot of ears and saw the young producer nominated for the Australian Recording Industry’s Song of the Year. This seminal track comes from Flume’s debut self-titled LP, released in November 2012. The beat underneath somehow remains the star amid all that powerful identity. Flume wisely paired the California rapper’s rough and instantly recognizable rap with the charming softness of fellow Aussie Ku?ka. Vince Staples does not mess with a beat unless it’s dark, different, and damn cool. Flume is educating and enlightening the American masses, one tripped-out and abrasive song at a time.Ĩ. It’s all of those things paired with the fact that it managed to crack the top 30 on the Hot Dance/Electronic charts. ![]() It’s not that it has a cuss-word in the title, or that it stands out as unique in Flume’s song catalogue. The best part about “Wall Fuck” is not how weird and challenging it it. If you’ve got a weird friend who’s still never heard Flume before, this would be a perfect way to introduce said sub-rock dweller. It’s got that signature lazy rhythm, that chunky hand-clap beat, those wonky synths. “Sleepless” was the winning submission, and it was subsequently released as his official debut. Flume – “Sleepless” feat. Jezzabelle Doranįlume was signed to his Future Classics when he won an original production competition. In essence, the falling wedge serves as a valuable tool in a trader’s arsenal, allowing for informed decision-making based on patterns that historically hint at future price movements. This gives a strategic advantage in planning both short-term and longer-term trades. By measuring the height of the pattern at its widest point and projecting that distance from the breakout point, traders can estimate how far the ensuing bullish move might go. Forecasting Potential: Not only does the falling wedge signal a potential trend reversal, but it can also provide traders with a price target. Conversely, if the breakout fails and the price drops back within the wedge or below the lower trendline, it can be an exit signal or a stop-loss reference point.Ĥ. Once the pattern is confirmed with a breakout above the descending resistance, it offers an entry point. Clear Entry and Exit Points: For traders, one of the biggest advantages of the falling wedge is its ability to provide clear entry and exit points. A breakout from this pattern, particularly on increased volume, provides a more confident signal for a bullish trend reversal.ģ. Reliability: While no chart pattern is foolproof, the falling wedge has gained respect among traders for its reliability, especially when it’s accompanied by other confirming technical indicators. As the two trendlines converge and trading volume decreases, it indicates that sellers are losing strength and a potential change in market sentiment is on the horizon.Ģ. When spotted during a downtrend, it suggests that the downward momentum is waning. Reversal Signal: The falling wedge is primarily known as a bullish reversal pattern. Significance and Indications of the Falling Wedge Pattern:ġ. This re-test can offer a secondary entry point for traders. Re-test: After breaking out, the price might sometimes re-test the resistance-turned-support line before continuing its upward move.Bullish Confirmation: The pattern is confirmed when the price breaks above the descending resistance line, especially on increasing volume, signaling a potential bullish reversal.Price Compression: As the trendlines converge, price action will become more compressed, suggesting the potential for a breakout. While it can sometimes be spotted on shorter time frames, its significance is higher on daily and weekly charts. Duration: The pattern can develop over a few weeks to several months. This indicates a weakening downward momentum and hints at a potential breakout. Decreasing Volume: As the pattern progresses, there should be a noticeable decrease in trading volume. The resistance line will generally be steeper than the support line. ![]() ![]() ![]() Converging Trendlines: Look for two trendlines – a descending resistance line and a descending support line – that converge as the pattern matures. How to Identify the Falling Wedge Pattern on a Chart: Often seen in downtrends, the falling wedge signals that the current selling momentum is losing steam, potentially paving the way for a bullish reversal. A falling wedge is a bullish reversal pattern characterized by converging downward sloping trendlines with decreasing volume, indicating potential upward price breakout. ![]() ![]() ![]() We’ve been transitioning for about a month started by pushing morning naps later and shorter. I now want to focus our attention upon the sanctifying influence the Holy Ghost can be in our lives. Repenting and coming unto Christ through the covenants and ordinances of salvation are prerequisite to and a preparation for being sanctified by the reception of the Holy Ghost and standing spotless before God at the last day. As we do so, we will eventually and ultimately come to know Him (see John 17:3), “in his own time, and in his own way, and according to his own will” ( D&C 88:68), as did the people in the land of Bountiful. In a similar manner, you and I are admonished to turn toward and learn from Christ and to come unto Him through the covenants and ordinances of His restored gospel. The multitude gathered together at the temple was invited literally to come forth unto the Savior “one by one” ( 3 Nephi 11:15) to feel the prints of the nails in the Master’s hands and feet and to thrust their hands into His side. The risen Lord next explained the importance of coming unto Him. Repentance is the sweet fruit that comes from faith in the Savior and involves turning toward God and away from sin. As we appropriately seek for and receive the spiritual gift of faith in the Redeemer, we then turn to and rely upon the merits, the mercy, and the grace of the Holy Messiah (see 2 Nephi 2:8). First was repentance, “a turning of the heart and will to God, and a renunciation of sin” (Bible Dictionary, “Repentance,” 760). The basic principles outlined by the Master in this scripture are essential for us to understand and apply in our lives. Said He, “Now this is the commandment: Repent, all ye ends of the earth, and come unto me and be baptized in my name, that ye may be sanctified by the reception of the Holy Ghost, that ye may stand spotless before me at the last day” ( 3 Nephi 27:20). I came to know for myself that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and contains the fulness of His everlasting gospel (see D&C 27:5). Through the simple consistency of her example and testimony, my mother kindled in me the first flames of faith in the Savior and in His latter-day Church. I especially remember her description of the Savior’s visit to the American continent following His Resurrection and of His teachings to the people in the land of Bountiful.
